On Friday afternoon we were joined by hundreds of Clevelanders under the rotunda of our Downtown Cleveland store as ten Shark Bank semi-finalists sampled and shared information about their local products. Votes were cast and the People’s Choice winner was named, along with three other finalists:
CP’s Cooler – Ready-to-eat Cookie Dough (People’s Choice)
CP’s Cooler is an iconic ice cream stand in Willowick, OH also specializing in safe-to-eat, eggless cookie dough. Simple ingredients with a big taste.
The Pierogi Lady – Pierogis
Growing up in a small town, Sundays meant a day spent at Gram’s sharing good food with family which always included a helping of pierogis. The Pierogi Lady has carried on this tradition, using her grandmother’s recipes for you and your family to enjoy.
NOMaste – Cheesecakes
NOMaste specializes in raw, plant-based cheesecakes that are vegan and gluten free. Flavors include Tiramisu, Raspberry Lemon, Peanut Butter Cacao and Lavender Love.
Kiriba – Black Bean & Spanish Lentil Soups
A line of ready-to-eat Artisanal Beans and Legumes soup showcases sophisticated flavors from South America and Spain. Founder Monica Gali uses old family recipes and adapts them to appeal to a health conscious consumer. The products are gluten free, vegan and preservative free and made with organic beans and legumes.
