PRE Beef One Pot Beef Stew
1 Package PRE Stew Meat
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup carrot, chopped
1 1/2 cup yukon gold potato
1 tbsp. fresh thyme, minced
4 cup low sodium beef broth
1 cup frozen peas
Combine the flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the beef and coat it in the seasoned flour.
Melt the butter in a soup pot, add the beef, and brown it on all sides, about 5 min. Add garlic, carrot, potato, thyme, and beef broth, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer uncovered for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until the beef and vegetables are fork tender.
Add peas and simmer for 30 additional minutes. Season with additional salt to taste. Serve with crusty bread
