Organic Baby Japanese Sweet Potatoes

Baby Japanese Sweet Potatoes have a dark purple color on the outside and cream colored flesh on the inside. When you cut them open, you expectations simply do not match up with what you’re seeing. They are sweet, through and through, with a just a hint of chestnut flavor. Baby Sweet Potato MedleyBit fluffy and a little less moist than traditional sweet potatoes and yam, but if you are a sweet potato fan, these will definitely satisfy that craving.

Organic Baby Jewel Sweet Potatoes

These amazing vegetables are considered “The current Queen of sweet potatoes” with rich copper skin and deep orange flesh that is moist and tender when cooked, this is the go to potato for baking or casseroles.

Organic Baby Yam Medley

This mixed assortment consists of the organic Baby Jewel and organic Baby Japanese sweet potato varieties as well as Organic Baby Garnet and Organic Jersey Sweet Potatoes. Baby Garnet Sweet potatoes are named for their red-purple skin. They have bright orange flesh that is moist and pumpkin like when baked in a sweet potato pie or mashed. Baby Jersey Sweet potatoes are considered an “old fashioned” sweet potato with golden yellow or tan skin and creamy yellow flesh.

Cheesy Roasted Sweet Potatoes


1 package Organic Baby Sweet Potatoes, halved lengthwise
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Kosher Salt and Black Pepper
3 oz Fontina, grate (3/4 cup)
1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese

Heat oven to 425. Rub the potatoes with the oil and season salt and pepper. Bake cut side down until golden brown and tender 18-22 minutes. Turn oven to broil. Combine the fontina and Parmesan in a small bowl. Turn the potatoes cut side up and top with the cheese mixture, dividing evenly. Broil until the cheese is melted and golden brown 2 to 3 minutes. Serve warm
