Time to Grill!

We can’t think of many better ways to prepare fresh salmon than on a hot grill, especially in the summertime. Here are two of our favorite grilled salmon recipes that are easy enough for those new to grilling salmon and tasty enough for even the pickiest eaters!

Fire up the grill and enjoy!

Dill Butter Salmon

Ingredients:

Two Fresh 8 oz. Salmon Fillets
1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 oz. Heinen’s Unsalted Butter – Softened
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp. Fresh Chopped Dill
Kosher Salt and Fresh Cracked Pepper To Taste

Preparation:

In a bowl whisk together butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper until combined and refrigerate.
Next, brush all sides of the salmon fillets and steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon on a hot grill (350°F to 450°F) for 4 to 6 minutes or until it releases from the grates with ease.
To finish, remove from the grill and serve the salmon fillets with the lemon and dill butter dolloped on top of the salmon.


Balsamic Soy Salmon

Ingredients:

2 8 oz. Verlasso Salmon Fillets
1 Tbsp. Heinen’s Olive Oil
1/4 cup Heinen’s Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Heinen’s Honey
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
Green Onions for garnish
Kosher Salt and Fresh Cracked Pepper To Taste

Preparation:

In a separate bowl whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, and soy sauce and set aside.
Next, brush all sides of the salmon fillets and steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon on a hot grill (350°F to 450°F) for 4 to 6 minutes or until it releases from the grates with ease.
Once flipped, brush the salmon steaks with the balsamic soy glaze and cook the salmon for a further 3 to 4 minutes.
