Heinen's Seafood

Fresh fish, six days a week! That's how often our local fishmongers deliver fresh seafood to each of our stores. We'll hook you up with seasonal wild catches as well as the finest of farm-raised fish.

We make a special effort to carry unique and different types of seafood whenever they are available, and we try to identify at least one item that delivers "best in class" taste every week. And remember: we can order any type of seafood that can be shipped to Cleveland. Just ask at our seafood counter.

Fresh Farm Raised Artic Char Fillets

Char is a cousin to salmon, but a bit milder and more finely textured.

Artic Char has a distinct flavor somewhere between salmon and trout, but closer to salmon.

The meat is moderately firm with a finer flake. Artic Char has a high fat content which helps keep the fish moist.

Heinen's really Fresh Shrimp

Not too long ago, we were brainstorming about shrimp. Fresh shrimp. How could we offer fabulous fresh shrimp at our seafood counters? Shrimp that would consistently be the standout on today's ready-to-serve shrimp market?

That's when we realized it was time to start cooking fresh shrimp right in our store-and then nesting it in piles of ice in our seafood cases. Now we offer absolutely the best on the market. There's no thawing of shrimp that was previously cooked. Our shrimp is really fresh!
