Wine Consultant
Union Position

Position Description
This position will be responsible for the ordering, inventory control and selling of all products within the wine department. Responsibilities include implementing company policies, practices and initiatives, delivering superior customer service and team leadership as well as processing relevant product information for our customers.

Qualification Requirements
Is responsible for selecting wines for our customers, often choosing vintages that pair well with menu items, wines that showcase a particular growing region or type of grape, or those that are appropriate for a given special occasion. An experienced wine consultant who is knowledgeable about wines of the world and loves sharing that knowledge with our customers. Must have an appreciation for various and appropriate food pairings with all types of wine options. Must possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to deal with all customers in a friendly, courteous & polite manner. Proven leadership capabilities to build and sustain a positive team environment.
