Apple Cider Margaritas


1 ounce Grand Marnier
1 ounce gold tequila
5-6 ounces sweet apple cider
orange segments and apple slices
cinnamon, cane sugar and coarse sugar for glass rimming
cinnamon sticks for garnish

Add a few spoonfuls of cane sugar, coarse sugar and cinnamon to a plate. Run an orange segment around the edge of the glass, then press into the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat the rim.

Add a few orange slices in the bottom of the glass, fill with ice, then add the Grand Marnier, tequila and apple cider and stir to mix.

Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.

“Black Christmas” Beer Cocktail


1 part Guinness Stout
1 part Your Favorite Christmas Ale

Slowly pour the Christmas Ale down the inside wall of a beer stein. (Pouring in this manner will reduce the chance of the beer forming a head – which you don’t want on this layer.) Then, gently pour the Guinness over the back of a spoon, and over the Christmas Ale. This will give you a tan layer, topped with a black layer.

Cranberry Mojito


8 oz. fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
20 mint leaves
2 tbsp. lime juice
Ice
4 oz. rum
4-6 oz. soda water

Place cranberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Then lower the heat to medium-low and continue to cook for about 10 minutes, before your berries start bursting. Remove from heat.

Once the berry mixture has cooled, you can strain them. If you prefer, you can keep the mixture in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight before straining.

Put about 10 leaves of mint and a tbsp. of lime juice in each glass. With the back of a wooden spoon or a muddler mash the mint up.

Put ice in each glass and pour 2 oz. of the cranberry syrup and 2 oz. rum into each glass.

Top off each glass with soda water and sprinkle some fresh cranberries in for garnish.

Frozen Cranberry Margaritas


3/4 cup fresh cranberries
2/3 cup cranberry juice
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup lime juice
1/3 cup tequila
1/4 cup Triple Sec
Ice

Rinse cranberries. Dry and place in a freezer bag. Place in freezer overnight or longer, allowing the cranberries to freeze prior to planned serving day.

Pour all ingredients except ice in a blender. Fill to the top with ice. Blend. Serve in glasses rimmed with sugar and garnished with a lime wedge.

Spicy Gingerbread


1 oz Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Hazelnut liqueur
1/2 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
2 oz Ginger Beer
Cinnamon stick

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake over ice. Pour over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with Cinnamon stick.
