Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs

Fire up the grill for these time-saving summer kabobs!

Whether you’re hosting a gathering or looking for a grill friendly meal for your family, kabobs are a great option because they’re basically a balanced meal on a skewer and they’re customizable. 

The only downside to making kabobs from scratch is that they require a significant amount of prep  before ever making it onto the grill, but with Heinen’s ready-to-cook kabobs, the prep disappears.

Ingredients

  • Heinen's Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs
  • Heinen's Recipe Ready Summer Squash & Zucchini Mix
  • Two Brothers Seasoning
  • Small Seedless Watermelon Slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill. Brush the kabobs with olive oil and grill until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat a little olive oil and cook the squash and zucchini until just tender. Season with Two Brothers Seasoning.
  3. Serve with watermelon slices on the side.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
