February is the month of love, and we were certainly swept off of our feet by the variety of new products that arrived this month. From plant-based options like Cauliflower Crust Pizza, Beyond Meat Bratwurst and Sausage and ready-to-cook meal solutions in our Meat Department to our new Winter Menu in our Prepared Foods case, there’s a lot to love this month at Heinen’s.  Check out a few highlights below.

1. Heinen’s Mini Cookie Tubs
Meet the newest addition to the Heinen’s bakery. Our hard-to-resist mini cookies are made with real butter and are just the right size for a quick, sweet snack on the go. Available in Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, Chocolate Chip M&M and classic Chocolate Chip. In the Bakery.

2. Fresh Express Sweet Hearts
This new salad blend from Fresh Express will capture your heart. It combines two popular lettuce varieties for a delightful taste and texture. 4. Heinen’s Gourmet Case: Winter Menu
When dinner time sneaks up on you, or you’re craving a restaurant-quality meal without the hassle, Heinen’s Gourmet Case has delicious options for the whole family. Check out our new winter menu, featuring traditional favorites with a twist like North African-inspired Harissa Carrots, plant-based Impossible Bolognese with Rigatoni and more. 5. Beyond Meat Bratwurst and Sausage
This 100 percent plant-based sausage is free of soy, gluten and GMOs. Beyond Meat packs this juicy sausage with pea, fava and rice proteins, promoting environmental, animal welfare and health benefits. Brat Original and Hot Italian varieties. In the Meat Dept.

6. Om Organic Mushroom Powder

8. Heinen’s Ready-To-Cook, Plant-Based Stuffed Cabbage and Stuffed Peppers
New meatless meals can be ready in 35 minutes with Heinen’s Plant-Based Stuffed Cabbage and Peppers. Both are made with delicious Beyond Burger, while the Stuffed Peppers also include Nutcase Vegan Chorizo and vegan mozzarella cheese. In the Meat Dept.

9. Flour Pasta
Made by hand with old-world craftsmanship, modern methods, and artisanal quality, Cleveland’s own Flour Pasta Company’s pasta is a step above your traditional boxed pasta. In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
