2. Tillamook

When ice cream is made with quality milk, you can easily taste the difference, which is certainly the case with this ice cream. Operating under a commitment to product excellence, the team at Tillamook works directly farmers in Tillamook County, Oregon, a region known for it’s rich and fertile soil, to ensure that their cows are receiving top quality nutrition. The result is high-quality milk that makes for a creaminess that cannot be matched.

3. Oatly Non-Dairy Dessert

Oat milk is all the rage these days, so why not turn it into ice cream? This is what inspired the team at Oatly to create their line of delicious non-dairy frozen desserts. Made from a base of, you guessed it, oats, this frozen treat is free of dairy, gluten, soy and GMOs. It also has the same scoopable texture as traditional ice cream but with fewer calories and sugar, making it a perfect dessert for anyone looking to treat themselves to something healthy.

Available in Vanilla, Chocolate and Mint Chip.

4. Cado

Just when we thought avocados couldn’t get any cooler, Cado created the first line of avocado-based ice cream! With a focus on real, organic, non-GMO certified ingredients, this dairy-free ice cream is a nutrient-dense dessert with heart-healthy fats that will satisfy your sweet tooth without any added guilt!

Available in Dark Chocolate, Mint Chip, Amaretto Cherry and Sea Salt Caramel.

5. Van Leeuwen

The team at Van Leeuwen believes that a life without anything good is bad, which is why they turned their yellow New York City ice cream truck into a thoughtfully-sourced frozen treat business for everyone to enjoy. With a mission to make ice cream “the good way,” Van Leeuwen sources simple, clean, easy-to-pronounce ingredients from Mount Etna to create a frozen dessert that brings every ice cream lover a taste of goodness.

Available in Chocolate Fudge Brownie, French Earl Grey, French Vanilla Bean, French Honeycomb, French Sicilian Pistachio, Fresh Mint Chip and Brown Sugar Chunk.

6. Coolhaus Cannoli Ice Cream

If you frequent our ice cream freezers, you have probably already seen or tried a few of Coolhaus’ unique and innovative ice cream flavors. Now, this female-founded company is channeling their inner Italian baker with their new “Take the Cannoli” variety. Made from a mascarpone ice cream base mixed with chocolate-covered cannoli shells, it does not get any more authentic than this!

7.  Jenni’s Splendid Non-Dairy Ice Cream

Founded in Columbus, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is a local Ohio staple. Making traditional ice cream with whole ingredients since 2002, Jeni and her team recently ventured into the world of non-dairy ice cream so that everyone can experience the deliciousness. Using quality coconut cream instead of milk with delicious, made-from-scratch ingredients like cake bites and jam, you’d never guess from the texture and taste that this ice cream is plant-based.

8. Keto Pint

Keto Pint believes in the idea that everyone can be their best self without sacrificing the things they love, including ice cream. By Heinen's Grocery Store
In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
