This Mediterranean-inspired pizza uses a delicious, beautiful red pepper spread. Mama’s Red Pepper Spread is made with minimal ingredients and has the same consistency as a traditional pizza sauce. The red pepper sauce creates a robust, zingy flavor on the skillet pizza.

Why We Love This Recipe

  • Premade Pizza Dough: When making a skillet pizza you can save time by buying pre-made dough. This helps to make the pizza making easy and quick. The dough cooks perfectly in the skillet creating a beautiful crispy golden crust.
  • Versatile: This Red Pepper Skillet Pizza is easy to make and is versatile. It can be served as a lunch or dinner or at a party as an appetizer or snack at a tailgate.
  • Simple: You will love how simple the Mediterranean ingredients are on this pizza. The red pepper sauce replaces traditional pizza sauce. It uses minimal ingredients and adds so much flavor and color to the pizza. The creamy feta cheese and roasted red peppers are the perfect toppings to finish off the pizza.
