A bushel is what you can carry in one trip, and it is the unit an orchard actually thinks in. This one is spiced apple, built as an American Fruit Tart, which puts it in the one to two pounds of fruit per gallon band and leaves the apple enough room to be the subject rather than a flavour note. Apple is a quiet fruit in beer. Left alone it drifts toward cider and sweetness, so the spice is here to give it edges to stand on, and the tart base keeps the whole thing upright. 6.7% alc/vol.
