Heinen’s Food Preparation Instructions

For all grilled meats, allow product to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour before cooking for best results. After cooking allow meat to rest 10 minutes before serving.

Heinen’s Marinated Beef Steaks

Grill over medium-high heat about 5 minutes each side for rare and 7 minutes each side for medium or until you have reached desired temp.

Medium rare 130 F
Medium 140 F
Medium well 150 F

Heinen’s Marinated Pork Chops

Grill over medium- high heat 2 minutes each side. Lower heat to medium and cook 8 minutes or until an internal temperature of 145°F is reached.

Heinen’s Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Grill over medium-high heat turning every two minutes for 12 to 15 minutes or until an internal temperature of 140°F is reached.

Heinen’s Marinated Chicken Breast

Grill over medium-high heat 4 or 5 minutes per side until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.

Heinen’s Marinated Chicken Wings

Grill over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes per side. Transfer to a cooler part of the grill and cook another 8 minutes or until juices run clear or an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.

Heinen’s Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

Grill over medium- high heat 7 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.

Heinen’s Beef Kabobs and & Satays

Grill over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes per side making sure to rotate on all sides evenly or until your preferred doneness is reached.

Heinen’s Pork Kabobs and Satays

Grill over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F.

Heinen’s Handmade Gourmet Burgers

Grill or pan fry over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side turning once until desired temperature is reached.

Heinen’s Handmade Plant-Based Burgers

Grill or pan fry burgers over medium heat for approximately 5-6 minutes, turning once. Burgers are done when heated through and crispy on the outside.

Heinen’s Lemon Herb-Stuffed Chicken

Place the chicken breast-side-up over medium indirect heat on the grill with lid down for 20 minutes. Carefully flip the chicken to breast-side-down for 20 more minutes. Turn over again to breast-side-up and finish cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F, approximately 10 more minutes.

Rest 10 minutes before carving.

Chicken can also be roasted uncovered in a preheated 350°F oven to an internal temperature of 165°F. approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Rest 10 minutes before carving.

Heinen’s Marinated Ribs

Wrap ribs in heavy duty foil and grill over low indirect heat (300 F) for 2 hours with lid down. Remove from grill and rest 20 minutes before serving with barbecue sauce of your choice.

Heinen’s Chicken Piccata

Pour sauce around the sides of the chicken. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until chicken reaches internal temp of 165°F.

Heinen’s Chicken Parmesan

Pour sauce around the sides of the chicken. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until chicken reaches internal temp of 165°F.

Heinen’s Chicken Teriyaki

Pour sauce around the sides of the chicken. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until chicken reaches internal temp of 165°F

Heinen’s Italian Pork Tenderloin

Pour sauce over the pork. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until pork reaches an internal temp of 145°F.

Heinen’s Bistro Filet with Asparagus

Bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes or to desired doneness. Medium rare 130 F. Medium 140 F. Medium well 150 F.

Heinen’s Spinach Florentine-Stuffed Eye of Round

Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes or until internal temp reaches 145°F.

Heinen’s Sausage & Peppers

Pour sauces over the meal. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until sausage reaches an internal temp of 165°F.

Heinen’s Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos

Bake on a foil lined baking sheet at 400°F for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.

Heinen’s Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf

Place tray in the middle of the oven and bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the oven and drain grease. Allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes or until internal temp reaches 145°F.

Heinen’s Pot Pies

Preheat oven to 425°F. Place pot pie on a baking sheet. Bake for approx. 30-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and pie reaches and internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Cabbage

Preheat oven to 350°F. Transfer cabbage rolls to a baking dish. Add your favorite sauce or broth. Cover and bake 1-1 ¼ hours or until cabbage is tender and stuffing has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Bell Peppers

Preheat oven to 350°F. Transfer peppers to a baking dish. Add your favorite sauce or broth. Cover and bake 45 min to 1 hour or until peppers are tender and the meat stuffing reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pork tenderloin on a foil lined sheet tray. Bake 20 minutes per pound or until an internal temperature of 145°F is reached. Suggestion for bacon wrapped pork tenderloins- sear both sides of the tenderloin in a skillet then move to finish in the oven.

Heinen’s Stuffed Pork Chops

Preheat oven to 375°F. Season and place pork chops on a foil lined sheet tray. Bake 20-25 minutes or until an internal temperature of 145°F is reached.

Heinen’s Stuffed Pork Roast

Preheat oven to 375°F. Season and place pork roast on a lined sheet tray. Bake in oven approx. 16-20 minutes per pound or until an internal temperature of 145°F is reached.

Heinen’s Breaded & Stuffed Chicken Breast

Preheat oven to 375°F. Season and place chicken breast on foil lined sheet tray, spray lightly with cooking spray (optional) and bake in oven for approx. 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Split Breast or Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

Preheat oven to 375°F. Season and place chicken breast on foil lined sheet tray and bake in oven for approx. 25-30 minutes or until the breast reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Whole Chickens

Preheat oven to 325°F. Season and place chicken on foil lined sheet tray breast side up. Bake until the chicken and stuffing reach an internal temperature of 165°F. A 5-lb chicken will take approx. 1-1 ½ hours.

Heinen’s Breaded Boneless Chicken Wings

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place wings on foil lined sheet tray, spray with cooking spray (optional) and bake in oven for approx. 25-30 minutes or until the wings are crispy and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Mushrooms

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place mushrooms on a foil lined sheet tray and season. Bake for approx. 10-15 minutes or until the stuffing reaches 160°F.

Heinen’s Stuffed Hot & Mild Peppers

Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake peppers for approx. 15-20 minutes or until the stuffing reaches 160°F.

Heinen’s Meatballs

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place meatball on foil lined sheet tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until nicely browned. Chicken and turkey meatballs should reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Beef, veal, and pork meatballs should reach an internal temperature of 160°F.

Heinen’s Flavored Bacon

Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange bacon on a foil lined sheet tray so they do not overlap. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Flip bacon over. Return to oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until crispy.

Heinen’s Cooked Meatballs

Combine meatballs and sauce of your choice in pan. Simmer over low heat until meatballs are warm through (approx. 10 minutes).

Heinen’s Pork Schnitzel

Heat a medium skillet with 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Fry pork until crisp and golden brown. Approx. 3 minutes per side. Internal temp should reach 145°F.

Heinen’s Chicken beef or Pork Fajita Mix

Heat a medium skillet with 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Add the fajita mix and cook, stirring, until chicken reaches a temperature of 165°F or beef and pork reach and internal temperature of 145°F, about 5 minutes. Serve in your favorite tortilla or over a bed of rice.
