Today we are wingin’ it! This recipe isn’t so much a recipe, but more of a public service announcement to all my friends who shop at Heinen’s.

Stop. Drop. and roll over to Heinen’s butcher counter immediately. There you will find an array of pre-marinated chicken wings. Buy as many as you can, trust me! What I love most about Heinen’s pre-marinated wings is how much time they save me!

Chicken Wing Charcuterie Board

During a busy weeknight, wings are usually out of the question unless they are being ordered. Not anymore! Grab a dozen wings, preheat the oven, air fryer, grill or whatever you cook on and in 30 minutes you have some of the most delicious wings around. I was honestly blown away with how tasty the marinades were. I’ve eaten my fair share of marinated chicken wings and I usually find them too salty and loaded with unnecessary flavors like liquid smoke. Not these! After your first bite you will see how much time and effort Heinen’s put into these marinades, they really let the natural flavor of Gerber’s CARE Certified chicken shine!

Heinen’s has four flavors and each one brings something special to the dinner table!

Buffalo Wing – The most recognizable wing flavor in all of the land. A little spicy and a tad bit tangy, these are what wings are all about. Add a side of ranch and serve with a Heinen’s frozen flatbread for a meal that puts take-out to shame!

Nashville Hot – This flavor has been on the rise the past couple of years and when you taste it you’ll understand why. This wing was created with spice lovers in mind, and Heinen’s nailed it. Each wing is heavily seasoned with hot sauce cayenne pepper. I like to serve these with a drizzle of hot sauce, pickles and a piece of Heinen’s fresh baked bread. Almost like a deconstructed sandwich!

Blackened – Not to be confused with Cajun, which tends to be more spicy, blackened seasoning is loaded with garlic, oregano, thyme, onion powder and a hint of chili powder. While blackened seasoning is typically used for fish and shrimp, it’s amazing when used on chicken. When grilled, all these herbs take on an earthy flavor with just a hint of spice. I love the color of these once they are pulled off the grill. I prefer to devour these with blue cheese dressing or bites of raw blue cheese.

Garlic Pepper – I don’t mean to be biased, but I saved the best for last. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know what’s in this seasoning! Garlic and pepper are the true stars and they both shine through when applied to Heinen’s wings. These are very mild and sure to please your whole family.
