What’s For Dinner? Marinated Coulotte Steak

Fresh off the grill, this beef-based dinner is the perfect way to celebrate the end of the summer.

Start with a juicy pre-marinated Ancho Beer Marinated Coulotte Steak and pair with corn on the cob, pasta salad and ripe tomatoes for a well-rounded meal.

  • Heinen’s Ancho Beer Marinated Coulotte Steaks (Butt Strip)
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Heinen’s Kale Pesto Pasta Salad
  • Ripe Tomatoes


  1. Preheat grill or grill pan. Lightly oil grill grates and grill steak and corn. Remove steaks and corn at desired doneness. Allow steaks to rest.
  2. Butter and season corn, if desired.
  3. Serve with thick slices of tomato and Kale Pesto Pasta Salad.
  4. Add a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of flaked sea salt to the tomatoes, if desired.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
