IPA – 6.5% ABV – In between rounds of Chardee MacDennis the gang teamed up with RahrBSG and Yakima Chief Hops to brew a new West Coast Style IPA with Krush Cryo hops, Mosaic hops, and Ultra Dingemans Pils as the base malt. The Gang Saves CBC will be poured at the 2026 Brewers Association Craft Brewers Conference in Philly!

Alaskan Brewing – Grapefruit Imperial
Grapefruit IPA. ABV: 8.5%
Imperial IPA is made with Juneau’s glacier-fed water and an array of hops used in the boil and dry hopping, including Simcoe, Mosaic, Topaz, Bravo, Summit, Nugget and Apollo hops. Pale, Munich, and Light Crystal malts provide the backbone.
This beer pours copper with a creamy, thick head. Some lacing on the glass. Grapefruit aromas (with a spicy pepper just beneath it) come off the top. Carbonation is prickly on the tongue. The hops are mix of grassy (Chinook, Amarillo) and bitter (Centennial) – this isn’t one of those gooey, chewy resinous imperial IPAs that peels the enamel of your teeth. The finish is dry. All in all, another stellar beer.
