Ingredients

  • Heinen’s CARE Certified Garlic Pepper Chicken Wings
  • Mikes Extra Hot Honey or Hot Honey
  • Fresh Broccoli Florets
  • Weber Zesty Lemon Seasoning
  • Heinen’s Daily Bites Roasted Redskin Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Grill the wings until cooked through and lightly charred.
  2. Right before taking the wings off the grill, brush them with the honey to glaze.
  3. Toss the broccoli with a little oil and the zesty lemon seasoning. Briefly grill the broccoli until tender and lightly charred.
  4. Heat the potatoes in the microwave until hot.
  5. Finish the wings an extra drizzle of honey and serve with the broccoli and potatoes on the side.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
