These Cinnamon Sugar Challah French Toast Sticks are perfect for any holiday brunch you may be hosting or attending this winter!

Challah French Toast Sticks

Have you ever tried challah? Commonly enjoyed on ceremonial Jewish occasions, like Shabbat and certain major holidays, challah is bread that is enriched with eggs, oil and sugar for subtle sweetness. It is often braided prior to baking and can be enhanced with a variety of flavorful additions like cheese, chocolate or fruit, among others. Heinen’s Bakery offers a deliciously traditional challah that is extremely fresh and saves you the steps of mixing, kneading, braiding and baking. From Hannukah to Christmas and everything in between, it’s a great addition to any holiday menu!

While fresh challah is often enjoyed alongside a meal, leftover challah can be used in countless ways, like sandwiches, casseroles and even French toast!

Cut into slices and topped with a mixture of Heinen’s coconut oil, ground cinnamon and sugar for sweetness in every bite, Heinen’s fresh challah makes traditional French toast much more luxurious!
