Ingredients

  • Cristal Sandwich Roll
  • Cucina Amore Piquillo Artichoke Bruschetta
  • Liuzzi Hand Wrapped Fresh Mozzarella
  • Levoni Prosciutto Crudo
  • Heinen's Turkey Sausage & Kale Soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. When the oven is hot, toast the Cristal bread.
  3. Slice the mozzarella.
  4. Smear some of the piquillo artichoke bruschetta onto the toasted bread.
  5. Arrange the mozzarella slices and prosciutto on the bread to make the sandwich.
  6. Heat the soup in the microwave or on the stove top and serve with the sandwich.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
