Ingredients
- Dei Fratelli Homestyle Sloppy Joe Sauce
- Heinen's Organic Lentils
- Silver Hills Bread The Big 16
- Heinen's Tri-Color Diced Peppers
- Heinen's Diced Yellow Onions
- Arugula Microgreens
Instructions
- Place a pot over medium heat.
- When hot add a splash of oil and the peppers and onions and sauté until soft.
- Rinse and drain the lentils before adding them to the pot with some of the Sloppy Joe sauce.
- Simmer gently while stirring often until the mixture thickens a little bit.
- Spoon the lentils onto the bread and top with some of the arugula micro greens and another piece of bread.
- Serve with a side salad, we suggest using Heinen’s Power Greens with a drizzle of Biora Kombucha Balsamic Dressing.
