Two Easy Dinners with Heinen’s Ready-to-Cook Meat Entrees

When it comes to creating easy, elevated dinners, look no further than Heinen’s Meat Department for an impressive selection of ready-to-cook proteins, including CARE Certified marinated chicken and seasoned cuts of pork.

These items can be quickly prepared and served with a side or two from Daily Bites by Heinen’s (located in the Prepared Foods Department), or incorporated into recipes to cut down on prep time.

Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin Dinner

At the change of the seasons, Heinen’s skilled butchers introduce an assortment of fresh-flavored ready-to-cook proteins in the meat case, like Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin and Garlic and Herb Marianted Chicken Thighs. All you have to do is toss them in the oven and dinner is done! You simply can’t create a delicious dinner faster than that.

For one weekly dinner, I recommend pan-searing Heinen’s Garlic and Herb Marinated Chicken Thighs, then roasting them in the oven alongside carrots, potatoes and fall-inspired seasonings like thyme and sage.

For another meal idea, I suggest roasting Heinen’s Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin in the oven and serving it with one or more sides from Heinen’s Daily Bites section.

Ingredients

For the Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

  • Heinen’s blue cheese stuffed pork tenderloin
  • Heinen’s herb roasted redskin potatoes
  • Heinen’s recipe ready broccoli and cauliflower

Garlic and Herb Marinated Chicken Thighs

  • 2 Tbsp. Heinen’s olive oil
  • 4 Heinen’s garlic rosemary boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ large white onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. red potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ lb. carrots, peeled and cut into ½-inch coins
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp. Heinen’s dried sage
  • ½ tsp. Heinen’s dried thyme leaves
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Instructions

For the Blue Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the pork tenderloin in a baking dish or roasting pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal cooking temperature reaches 145°F. Allow to rest 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. While the pork roasts, heat Heinen’s Daily Bites herb roasted redskin potatoes according to instructions on the label. Steam, sauté or roast the broccoli and cauliflower and season to taste.

For the Garlic and Herb Marinated Chicken Thighs

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp. of the olive oil in a large (12-inch) cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and allow to sear on each side for 2-3 minutes without moving them. Transfer the chicken to a plate (chicken will not be cooked through).
  3. To the pan, add the remaining Tbsp. of olive oil, followed by the onions, carrots and potatoes. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often. Stir in the garlic, seasonings and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan, nestling it in with the vegetables. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake (uncovered) for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal cooking temperature of 165°F. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
