Apple Cider Sangria

Turn our delicious local apple cider into a festive fall cocktail with this Apple Cider Sangria recipe.

  • 2 cups local apple cider
  • 1 (750 mL) bottle Vin Hunter Prosecco
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1 bottle white wine, dry
  • 2 honeycrisp apples, sliced
  • 1 pear
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries


  1. In a large pitcher, add white wine, apple cider, brandy, apple and pear slices and cranberries.
  2. Let chill in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  3. Serve over ice and top with Prosecco.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
