Jambon Beurre: Toasted Ham & Salted Butter Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Cristal Sandwich Rolls or Baguettes
  • Kerrygold Salted Butter
  • 1 jar Three Little Pigs Cornichons (pickles)
  • Two Brothers Deli Ham of your choice (Black Forest, Maple, Cherrywood Smoked, etc.)
  • Stonewall Kitchen Sweet Honey Mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and melt a small amount of butter. Place the cut sides of the bread down in the skillet and toast for 2–3 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the skillet.
  2. Spread honey mustard on both cut sides of the toasted bread.
  3. Fold the ham slices loosely and layer them on the bottom half of the bread. Tuck the cornichons among the ham slices.
  4. Thinly slice the salted butter and distribute it evenly over the ham and cornichons.
  5. Top with the remaining half of the bread and serve.
