The following recipe and photography were provided by our partner, Yoko Segawa of Yoko’s Kitchen.

This Plum Wine Spritzer is bubbly and effortlessly refreshing! The sweetness of Hakutsuru Plum Wine pairs with crisp Dibon Brut Cava for a cocktail that feels both elegant and easygoing.

The fresh lemon and lime juice add a citrusy lift and I finished with vibrant melon skewers and fruit slices for added color. This is a stunning party drink that tastes like summer in a glass. Perfect for brunches, celebrations, or warm evenings with friends.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe:

  • Easy to prepare and customize. Made with just a few simple ingredients, this spritzer is easy to adapt with your favorite seasonal fruit. I used melon and kiwi slices, but mango, or even berries would work beautifully. Colorful fruit makes every glass feel festive.
  • Perfect for entertaining. This recipe is great for serving a crowd since you can prep most of it ahead of time with minimal effort. Just wait to add the sparkling wine and ice until right before serving so the drink stays bubbly and fresh.
  • Light, refreshing, and balanced. The sweet plum wine pairs perfectly with crisp sparkling cava for an approachable summer cocktail that’s fruity and not overly sweet.
