Local summer squash shines in this Yellow Squash and Feta Grilled Toast recipe, a dish that’s perfect served as an appetizer or light meal.

Heinen’s cream cheese is used as the base of a creamy spread on grilled sourdough bread and then topped with grilled squash, onion, crumbled feta and fresh basil or parsley. You can also use any fresh herbs you may have on hand — rosemary or thyme would also be delicious!

Make this dish the next time you entertain this summer!
