Ingredients

  • (1) 8 oz. Lightlife plain tempeh
  • 12 oz. water
  • 2 Tbsp. Bragg liquid aminos
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1-2 pinches chili flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. Heinen’s extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Jar Mia’s Kitchen or Rao’s marinara sauce, heated

Instructions

  1. Crumble tempeh into a pan.
  2. Add water, aminos, Worcestershire, and spices.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Bring to a simmer on medium-low heat.
  5. Let simmer until the tempeh has absorbed all the water.
  6. Mix in oil and continue to cook on medium heat for another 5 minutes or so.
  7. Stir into heated sauce.
  8. Serve over Explore Cuisine Edamame and Mung Bean Fettucine or your favorite Banza pasta.
