What’s For Dinner? Easy Pasta Fagioli

Ingredients

  • De Cecco Orzo Pasta
  • Volpi Chopped Prosciutto
  • Heinen’s Diced Mirepoix
  • Heinen’s Organic Baby Kale
  • Heinen’s Organic Chicken Broth
  • Mutti Crushed Tomatoes
  • Hanover Seasoned Sicilian Style Beans
  • Heinen’s Imported Grated Parmigiano Reggiano

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo in rapidly boiling water.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the pancetta until crispy.
  4. Add the mirepoix and cook until softened.
  5. Add the kale and cook until wilted.
  6. Add the chicken broth, tomatoes, and beans.
  7. Bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in the cooked orzo.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with grated Parmesan.
