How to Use Heinen’s Spray Cooking Oils

When it comes to spray cooking oils, there really are no limits. Available in an assortment of varieties and useful for more than just coating a pan, Heinen’s premium spray oils are a true kitchen essential for all of your cooking adventures.

To inspire you to think outside of the “bottle,” check out these three unique recipes that feature Heinen’s spray avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil with garlic and ghee.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Wings

  • Gerber's CARE Certified chicken wings
  • Heinen's avocado spray oil
  • Salt and pepper

For the Pan-Seared Chicken

  • Gerber's CARE Certified chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • Two Brothers blackened seasoning
  • Salt
  • Heinen's ghee spray oil

For the Garlic Bread

  • Artisan bread
  • Heinen's extra virgin olive spray oil with garlic
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

Chicken Wings

  1. Add the chicken wings to a large bowl and spray them with the avocado oil. Use less than you normally would with regular cooking oil.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to a parchment-lined sheet tray.
  4. Bake in the oven at 425˚F for 25-30 minutes.

*These chicken wings can be made in the oven or the air fryer. 

Pan-Seared Chicken

  1. Season both sides of the thinly sliced chicken breasts with Two Brothers blackened seasoning. Add a little salt and mix well to coat.
  2. Spray a large frying pan over medium-high heat with the ghee, then add the chicken.
  3. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the chicken is perfectly browned.

Garlic Bread

  1. Slice the bread in half and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Spray the extra virgin olive oil with garlic all over the top of the bread.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake in the oven at 400˚F for about 6-8 minutes.
