Ingredients

  • Heinen’s Red Curry Grain Bowl
  • Large, Peeled & Deveined Shrimp
  • Heinen’s Plain Pita
  • Heinen’s Whole Cashews

Instructions

  1. Heat a sauté pan over high heat.
  2. Season the shrimp with your favorite seasonings.
  3. Sauté the shrimp and contents of the grain bowl in a small amount of olive oil.
  4. When the shrimp are cooked through, add the red curry sauce to the pan and toss to coat everything in the sauce.
  5. Garnish with the cashews and serve alongside the pita.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
